Gamma Gamma Omega celebrated Founder's Day at a luncheon on January 22, 2006, at the Renaissance Hotel. Guest Speaker was Mayor Terry Bellamy of Asheville, NC. Mayor Bellamy was elected to the office of Mayor November 2005. She is the first African-American mayor for the City of Asheville and was past President of Gamma Gamma Omega Chapter.
