The 2006 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority 's international convention (Boule') was held July 12 -17 in Detroit, Michigan. Six sorors from Gamma Gamma Omega Chapter were present as Soror Barbara McKinzie was installed as the 27th International President of the Alpha Kappa Alpha.
