On April 22, 2007, Gamma Gamma Omega held a Centennial Celebration, "Celebrating 100 years of service: The Alpha Kappa Alpha Story", to commemorate the Sorority's yearlong celebration of this historic event. Sorors had worship service at Brown Temple Church and a luncheon at the Crest Center. The luncheon kicks off Gamma Gamma Omega's celebration of the sorority's rich heritage and accomplishments. The luncheon honored distinguished members of the community, as well members of Gamma Gamma Omega. Honorees included:
