Martin Luther King, Jr. Day On
January 15, 2007

Gamma Gamma Omega celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day by having a "Day On" of community service.  Sorors attended the annual  MLK, Jr. Prayer Breakfast on Saturday January 13, 2007. On January 15, 2007 Sorors walked from St. James A.M.E. Church to Asheville's famed City-County plaza in the annual Peace Walk and listened to featured community speakers, prayer, and inspirational music.  Sorors continued the "Day On" with volunteering at the American Red Cross Blood Drive and Community Health Fair.  Sorors donated blood and provided snacks for those who donated.
